My husband and I have been at Morningside of Fullerton for 3 years and haven’t had a single regret. It is beautiful, just the right size, and has a staff (top execs, marketing, maintenance, food services, wellness, etc.) that is unbelievably competent, friendly, and caring. When we have family or friends visit, they can’t rave enough about all the amenities, friendliness of the residents, and the wonderful food choices – they say it feels like they’re on a cruise! While we have heard some folks express that it’s just too early to move to a 3-tiered community, we say sooner is so much better too late – one never knows when something might happen to you or your spouse that would make it difficult to qualify. We are totally satisfied with our decision and were able to begin the process of downsizing. Now it’s time to relax and smell the roses!!
We looked at retirement communities in North San Diego County, and La Costa Glen stood out for its beautiful grounds, nicely appointed living accommodations (villas and apartments), and all the available amenities. Of special mention is the welcoming, friendly and accomodating attitude of the staff who exceeded all expectations in welcoming us and making us feel most comfortable when we visited La Costa Glen.
When my mother celebrated a milestone birthday during SIP the staff went above and beyond to make sure she had a special day from parades at her balcony singing to her to a cake delivered by the chef and kitchen staff also singing.
Especially, today in the pandemic, we all so appreciate the community administration and all the staff members diligently care for our welfare, deliver our daily meals, and the designed senior fitness and entertainment programs through ZOOM.
We moved here in August 2020. (Yes, moved in during the pandemic!) We’ve had a deep sense of peace and relaxation since we arrived. Best place we can imagine – great neighbors, fantastic staff, wonderful food and the grounds are beautiful! We feel very safe here during Covid!
I couldn’t be happier with my decision to move to The Glen at Scripps Ranch. Residency Counselor Caryn Outwater was a joy to work with, and the crews assigned to security, housekeeping, maintenance, and the restaurants all go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. It really is carefree living. And the food is amazing!
I have been living at the Glen in Scripps Ranch for a month and I simply love it. The campus is very large and is gorgeous The inside campus is beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly and courteous and they made my move here very pleasant.
I must mention the food which is outstanding too. Michael Rodgers who is my counselor was wonderful to work with. He always made time to listen to my questions and he was always very patient and helpful. I look forward to many good years living here.
My mother lives here. It’s wonderful. Beautiful place. Wonderful interesting residents. Caring professional staff. Couldn’t ask for a nicer situation!
If living stress free in a 5 star resort sounds appealing, Morningside is the place for you. If the idea of having Continuing Care gives you peace of mind, Morningside is the place for you. If you like to interact with friendly and interesting people, Morningside is the place to be.
For all of these reasons Morningside is the place for me. I feel fortunate to be in this very special place.
